Do You Think Justin Timberlake's 'Suit & Tie' Is A Good Look?

I don't know if you've heard, but I'm not the biggest fan of Justin Timberlake. But, as the adage goes, you've gotta give the people what they want. And apparently what they want is a discussion about the lyric video for JT's lackluster comeback single "Suit & Tie." So how does the comeback kid top swagger jacking the hell out of Robin Thicke musically? He swagger jacks him some more, but this time visually! From the bespoke suit right down to the haircut, Justin is serving us pseudo-Thicke on a platter as he traipses around old Hollywood style getting dapper for the camera. And then there are the lyrics (which make this a lyric video as opposed to a regular video -- though this is essentially just a regular music video with words on the screen). I don't necessarily expect my pop to be held to the same standards as literary masterpiece, but I do like some semblance of substance. The song seems to be just about him and his girl dressing up and looking good (more specifically, how "fire" his girl looks in her dress though he does little to describe it). So, then, how exactly in all of this shallowness is he showing us a few things about love? Anywho, I'd be lying if I said the song wasn't catchy (like the flu that everyone has now but no one actually wants) and the single has broken airplay records and is climbing up the iTunes charts. So I'm sure that when The 20/20 Experience drops on March 19th (as he so casually reveals at the end of the clip), I'll be one of the few not lined up to get it.
