Frank Ocean Finds 'Religion' On 'Late Night With Jimmy Fallon'

That Frank Ocean is a very clever dude. After becoming the talk of these mean Internet streets last week, he fanned the flames by leaking the gloriously sublime "Sweet Life." But, it seems, Frankie O.'s bag of tricks runs much deeper. Last night, marking his television debut, he performed "Bad Religion" on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon backed by The Roots and a string orchestra. The song was a perfect choice, as it winks at last week's news but also demonstrates how deft a songwriter/musician Frank really is. And, while it was an amazing, possibly star-making performance, it wasn't even the biggest Frank Ocean-related news of the night. That title belonged to Channel Orange itself, as it was released digitally last night at midnight (an entire week ahead of schedule). Frank, you sly little devil. Peep the breathtaking performance below and then run (don't walk) to scoop up Channel Orange over at iTunes.
