Lili K. & Peter Cottontale Bring You A 'Prelude' To Your 'Christmas' Cheer

I don't like Christmas music. I really don't. But it seems that folks around SBHQ want to make my Grinchy little heart grow three times its size. How else can you explain why Lili K. and Peter Cottontale's holiday ditty ended up in my inbox. Dubbing it "A Christmas Song," Lili jazzes up a medley of "Angels We Have Heard On High" with a bit of "The Christmas Song" and "Jingle Bells" in an effort to get us all in the Christmas spirit. I'd never heard of Lili and Peter until this effort, but it was enough to make me peep even more of them. Luckily I didn't have to look far, as their EP A Prelude to Hello is on their Bandcamp page. If you enjoyed their Christmas medley, you'll be floored by this. Combining elements of jazz, hip hop, and soul, they've truly crafted something special. The four-track EP is some of the most refeshing music that I've heard all year. Luckily, these projects aren't the last we'll hear of the twosome, as they're preparing their latest collaboration, Metal Petals, to drop sometime in the near future. Because I'm actually feeling the Christmas cheer thanks to these two, I'm going to be nice and share this magic with you guys. Check out their medley "A Christmas Song" as well as the appropriately-titled "Refreshing" below. After that, head to Lili's Bandcamp page to get A Prelude to Hello and "A Christmas Song" for free.
