Robin Thicke Wears His 'Pretty Lil' Heart' On His Sleeve

With the upcoming album, Love After War, due out December 6th, Robin Thicke with the help of none other than Lil Wayne dropped a little something lovely for us to enjoy. The single entitled "Pretty Lil' Heart" isn't a far stretch from what we have come to know and in most cases love from Mr. Thicke. From the minute the music begins and you hear Lil Wayne's opening flow, it's easy to think "Pretty Lil' Heart" is going to be another overly sexual yet slightly catchy tune, however this is not the case at all. Given a closer listen, the song has a rather honest vulnerability to it. Come on, ladies, who doesn't want to hear a man sing, "Tell me that future is getting brighter now, tell me that we'll make it, that we'll make it somehow, tell me it's forever that we'll never part, tell me that you'll never break my pretty lil' heart"? With lyrics so refreshingly open and a beat that suggests some variation of a slow grind, Robin Thicke has piqued my interest. and for those who feel the same "Pretty Lil' Heart" will be available on iTunes November 8th.
