Boyz II Men & Charlie Wilson 'Know' What To Do
Sometimes instead of blowing a budget on a music video that has nothing whatsoever to do with said music, less is more and keeping it ultra simple is the way to go. Seriously. When all else fails, throw together video of a studio session, behind the scenes footage, and/or a performance and keep it moving. Boyz II Men and Charlie Wilson do all of the above in the visuals for the song "More Than You'll Ever Know." Although this is the first single from BIIM's recently released Twenty, this is second video from the album following "One Up For Love." Here we have scenes of Nate, Wanya, and Shawn in the studio making it do what it do mixed in with a live performance with Mr. Wilson on a rooftop overlooking Los Angeles on a beautiful, smog-free night. The video is watchable although there's nothing particularly groundbreaking to see here, save for the fact that Uncle Charlie FINALLY cut off those cornrows he's been rocking since after they went out of fashion. Now, he replaced those cornrows with a conk mohawk situation, but at least his hair is in 2011.
