To coincide with the release of their The Boogie Vol.2 compilation, Tokyo Dawn Records have released the video for Amalia's "Freeze That," a track which appears on the compilation as well as Amalia's debut album, Art Slave, which dropped at the start of the year. The song, produced by Opolopo, has that futuristic-funk vibe that we have come to expect from a pairing of these two, however, it pays more than a little homage to the New Jack Swing era too. I must admit, the video is a little underwhelming, especially given the well-shot album teaser that surfaced earlier in the year, but I suppose it fits the song.
