After he released the ridiculously infectious "Dancing" alongside Zed Bias, and re-released his Sing (If You Want It) album via Tru Thoughts, I was quietly confident that we would soon hear news of an album of brand new material from Mr. Omar Lye-Fook. Well, that news has been confirmed by the man himself at a recent show at London's Jazz Cafe where he informed a clearly excited audience that he was working on a new album called The Man. He couldn't confirm when his seventh album would see the light of day, but he did treat them to a performance of the album's title track which, luckily for us, Fusicology caught on film.
