Raheem DeVaughn Takes Us On A Futuristic Voyage With 'B.O.B.'

With a song about "battery operated boyfriends," I wasn't sure what to expect with the video for Raheem DeVaughn's "B.O.B." Especially after the sextacular (or tacky depending on what side of the fence you were on) video for "Single" that pushed the envelope all the way open last year. But instead of taking the obvious sex toy route, DeVaughn and director Chris "Broadway" Romero took the high road into a futuristic land when real men have been replaced with the most uninteresting of androids. The video has a storyline that applies to the song's lyrics, tight CGI graphics, and will keep you engaged from beginning to end. What more could you ask for? Well, if you're a fan a Raheem's mixtapes, then you can ask for his eleventh mixtape that he dropped this week, entitled Heemy Taught Me. A collection of slow jams from his three albums and loose joints that you may or may not have heard before, Heemy Taught Me is just what the love doctor ordered. Peep the cover and tracklist after the bounce, then mosey on over to DatPiff for the freeload.
