Reel People & Tony Momrelle Are 'Golden'

As much as I fawn over this man whenever I have the pleasure to write about him, it should be clear by now that I am truly, madly, deeply in love with Tony Momrelle's voice. The Reel People showstopper has oft been compared to Stevie Wonder vocally, but he has his own style and sound, which he brings to the table on a remake of one of Stevland's most beloved hits, "Golden Lady."
Taken from 1973's Innervisions, Reel People put a modern twist on "Golden Lady" with a nod of Jose Feliciano's 1974 cover with its Latin spin. Tony and company recently recorded a live version of the title track from their just-released new album during their Unplugged Session @ Livingston Studio in London, and they posted the video they captured of the moment online for our enjoyment. Enjoying it I am, as I'm sure you will, too. Pull up a chair, and get some soul food.
