Raphael Saadiq Shows Us What A 'Good Man' Looks Like

As much as I love Raphael Saadiq, I admittedly have not loved what I've heard thus far from his new album, Stone Rollin'. The lead single, "Radio," elicited little more than a shrug from me, and although I like the second single, "Good Man," way more, it still took multiple spins for me to even get to that point of feeling it. However, now with the release of the song's video, I have a newfound appreciation for the song thanks to the powerful mini-movie directed by Isaiah Seret and starring Yaya DaCosta (America's Next Top Model) and Chad Coleman (The Wire). Cinematic in its approach, "Good Man" features powerful performances from Coleman as the good man and DaCosta as his low down dirty woman. I don't want to give anything away in the event that you haven't feasted your eyes on this yet, but watching this is 4:45 well spent.
