Erykah Badu Is Never 'Gone' For 'Long'
Though I had no idea what was going on in the Flying Lotus-directed video for Bilal's "Levels," I can at least say that my mind is better able to grasp the new video for Erykah Badu's "Gone Baby, Don't Be Long." Featuring a backdrop that resembles blueprint paper--at least to me--Erykah travels along a conveyor belt in an über-spartan futuristic city devoid of color but full of shimmering outerspace elements. Trust me, it's tame and is able to be easily mentally digested.
