Mara TK is possibly my favorite male voice of the new soul generation. From the moment Electric Wire Hustle's "Perception" came through my speakers like a breath of fresh air, I fell in love with his silky smooth, Marvin-esque vocals. Since then I have made it my mission to track down as much material as possible from the EWH frontman, and there is plenty to find if you look hard enough. This new track, "Run (Away From The Valley Of Fear)" is taken from Mara's upcoming solo EP, Taniwhunk, which will be released later this year. The track is what we have come to expect from the New Zealand-based maestro: rich, soulful vocals over a futuristic soul beat. Simply perfection!
