It's been some time since we last revisited Zed Bias aka Maddslinky's "Further Away" featuring Tawiah. Sure it made my personal Top 10 list of 2009 and it is a lovely tune, but I must admit that the adage "out of sight, out of mind" applied towards my recent feelings about this track. That is until today when my inbox was blessed with a bevy of remixes of "Further Away"--10 to be exact--that will be available from Tru Thoughts Recordings on January 24th. "Further Away" is the second single from Maddslinky's latest, Make A Change, which has been receiving critical acclaim from those such as Gilles Peterson's Radio 1 show whose voters made this song the #3 track of all of 2010. Out of the ten remixes, I am entirely feeling this one by Falty DL with its sultry feel that is reminiscent of the original but manages to be something entirely different. Take a listen below and be prepared to be taken away.
