Erykah Badu's "Out My Mind, Just In Time" was definitely one of the many highlights of New Amerykah Part 2: Return of The Ankh. Recalling the movement/arrangement we saw on the classic "Green Eyes," it became an instant favorite of those eager to see Ms. Badu return to her softer, more spiritual roots. Now Brooklyn-based pruducer DJ Kiva has flipped the track into what he likes to call Stuttastep: "A form of music derived from a formula of afro-cuban time signatures, broken beats, dubwise production, [and] heavyweight bass".
