I have been slow to jump on board the Bruno Mars train, but in recent weeks the tide has turned and I've found myself really digging what I've seen and heard from him. From finding out that he co-wrote Cee-Lo's song of the year contender "F--k You" to his breakout appearance as the musical guest on Saturday Night Live to seeing him perform live at the Soul Train Awards taping last week, dude has steadily been impressing me. Since I'm on the late bus, I'm just now getting into his song "Grenade," the video for which was just released. In the song, Mars laments a relationship gone wrong and the fact that he'd die for old girl but she wouldn't do the same for him. Ouch. The video is equally as heartbreaking with the diminutive singer dragging a piano across Los Angeles and running into all sorts of miscreants. Feel his pain by pressing play below.
