New Orleans Set To Fall Under The Spell Of The Voodoo Experience
If you thought festival season was over just because fall is now upon us, then think
again. The 12th Annual Voodoo Experience is rolling into New Orleans this Halloween
weekend and the lineup is sure to please even the most ghoulish of music lovers.
SoulBounce faves Janelle Monáe and Raphael Saadiq are slated to take the stage over
the course of the three-day festival, which is also sponsored by State Farm. Also set to
perform are Macy Gray and current rap darling, Drake. Raphael gave fans something
to look forward to, as he revealed via Twitter that he'll be unveiling new music during
his performance. Past performers include Ledisi, Common, The Roots, George Clinton
and the Parliament-Funkadelic, Talib Kweli and Zap Mama. After going back and forth
between Voodoo's six stages, festival goers will be able to unwind and refuel at the
Stage Farm Club 17K Tent, which features chair massages, a multi-media room, custom
t-shirt printing and the chance to win food vouchers. SoulBounce will be there on the
front line, keeping ya'll posted on the haps from this weekend so be sure to check back!
