Carlitta Durand is a chameleon. She easily slips between soul, hip hop and electronica, and now we get to hear her flex her jazz chops on the song "Rather Sleep." She posted a link on Twitter to the free download of the track on her Bandcamp page, and I downloaded the song without question and without even listening to it first. I trust Carlitta like that, and my blind faith paid off once I took a listen to the recording. "Rather Sleep" is simply a sheer delight.
