A Soulful Noise, Releases
'Bowlive' With Soulive & Friends On DVD

While I've loved every single CD Soulive has put out, I've always managed miss the boat when it comes to catching a live show. Thanks to their upcoming live DVD, Bowlive: Live from the Brooklyn Bowl, I can at least imagine that I'm actually there while in the comfort of my own home. Due out November 23rd, the DVD was taped during a two-week stay at the hip, live venue, Brooklyn Bowl (Talib Kweli, ?uestlove and Solange are regulars). The result finds Soulive members Eric Krasno, Alan Evans and Neal Evans being joined by everybody from ?uesto and Rahzel to Raul Midon and Robert Randolph. Check out the tracklisting after the bounce for more deets on what to expect and be sure to pick up a copy when it hits stores. While it doesn't look like the group performs my all-time favorite Soulive tune, "What Can You Do," I'm excited all the same about finally getting my chance to see them do their thing--even if it's just from my living room sofa.
