'You Are' The One For Charlie Wilson

It's been a rough few weeks for Charlie Wilson. First his vocal talents got misused and abused on Kanye West's "See Me Now," then his brother and fellow Gap Band member, Robert Wilson, passed away days later. But Uncle Charlie's show must go on, and he returns with a lovely new piece of music in the song "You Are." The first single from his as-yet-untitled album, "You Are" finds Wilson singing to his lady that she is his absolute everything. The lyrics to this song are beautiful, and his vocal performance is on point as usual. Charlie Wilson may be old enough to be my father (and quite married as evidenced by that ring), but I sure wouldn't mind him singing this to me.
