Usually when a song doesn't make it onto an artist's album, it's often safe to say that the song didn't make the cut for a good reason. Whether the artist didn't like it or the label didn't like it or both, the tunes that tend to fall by the wayside are sometimes better left never seeing the light of day. Well, that is so not the case for this Usher track, "You're So Fire," that leaked over the innanets this week. From beginning to end, this song left me feeling all warm and fuzzy inside as Ursh sings his heart out about all the ways his special girl gets him hot and bothered. I think it was the track that hooked me in first, a sexy little ditty that has traces of Prince just oozing all over it. Whatever it is, "You're So Fire" should definitely have made it onto either Raymond vs. Raymond or even his recently released EP, Versus. Whether it ever sees the light of day as an official release, I'm not sure; but I am definitely happy it made its way onto my iTunes after all.
