When Jill Scott released her debut Who Is Jill Scott? about ten years ago with the tune "It's Love" dipped in some go-go swing, we knew that it would only be a matter of time before Jilly from Philly hooked up with the Godfather of Go-go Chuck Brown to work some dual magic on a track. "Love," the first single from Chuck's upcoming album, We Got This, is the pair's musical lovechild. Its uptempo beat is a winner that fans of both artists will dig. We Got This comes out tomorrow and will be sold with a DVD of concert footage of his performances at the 9:30 Club and other venues across the country. The CD will also include a disc of five new songs that feature collaborations with other folks, including Ledisi and Marcus Miller.
