Excitement for Elisabeth Withers' sophomore set, No Regrets, has ramped up this week with the release of the video for "No Regrets" and the leak of another song from the album that has me over here catching the holy ghost. The rock-infused jam "Why" finds Elisabeth asking her man why they can't work their love thing out when we can do the impossible like put a man on the moon. That's a damn good question, but it's her voice that's the answer. Withers puts in one of her finest vocal performances on this track. She sounds incredible here and has easily convinced me to add No Regrets to my September 14th shopping list.
