There's something about summertime that makes me want to listen to nothing but house music all night long (say what?!). The music just sounds like sunshine and sweat. And whenever I want to work up a sweat I make sure to pull up my monstrous soulful house playlist on iTunes and groove out to old classics and new favorites. I now have a funky fresh addition to my collection with this brand new house track from The Floacist. She combines her sultry spoken word with a track that has a slight Baltimore-meets-deep house feel to it on the song "Prophecy." I'm sorry, but when The Floacist speaks her words are like hot sex on a platter. "Prophecy" won't be found on her upcoming debut album, but this track will be available for download starting August 13th at Stinkiface Music and later in the month on iTunes. Until then, we got you right here.
