I had all but forgotten about Sterling Simms who sang the hook on Jay-Z's "Dig A Hole" back in '06 and released his debut album in '08 with the single "Nasty Girl" that barely made a blip on the charts. Which is a pity because this dude can actually sing, and he's also an accomplished songwriter as a member of the KnightWritaz crew. Who knows why he has yet to break, but maybe this is his time with the release of his song "Baby." It's the video that really enhances the track, however. Sterling and his lady get into a huge fight, and he tells her to get to stepping. She does, quickly moving on to the next while Simms sings his sad song and envisions her in intimate situations with her new boo. Yeah, his baby is someone else's lady and there ain't a damn thing he can do about it but sing and look handsome in the video.
