We've been hearing news about Kem's third album, apparently titled Kem Album III: Intimacy, for a while now, but had yet to hear a peep from the new project until now. The first single "Why Would You Stay" recently surfaced on radio, and it's the Kem that we've grown to know and love. A smooth R&B track, he repents on record and asks his lady why she has stayed with him after he's done her wrong. He doesn't quite get to the Keith Sweat level of begging, but he sincerely sings for her forgiveness. Hot on the soulful heels of his rendition of "Golden Time of Day" from last year's Maze featuring Frankie Beverly tribute album, this is a great return for Kem.
