Don't Forget The Lyrics: Erykah Badu On 'The Wendy Williams Show' Edition

I fought this long and hard, but I have to admit that The Wendy Williams Show is my guilty pleasure. Wendy is so over-the-top, catty and campy that it's oddly endearing. Plus she has been booking some of my favorite Soul and R&B acts to perform on her show lately, so she definitely gets cool points from this direction. The latest of my faves to grace her stage was Erykah Badu, who stopped through this morning on her busy promo tour for Tuesday's release of New Amerykah Part Two: Return of the Ankh. Always on the fashion edge, Erykah channeled the spirits of Peaches sans Herb, JoJo from the Mary Jane Girls and Rick James himself with a braided and beaded wig perched atop her head. There to sing her single "Window Seat," Badu started out with a bang by forgetting the lyrics on the first verse, but she covered up her flub and kept it moving like the pro that she is.
