Whitney Gives Good Love Again With 25th Anniversary Collection

Whitney Houston's comeback thus far has been almost miraculous. For the diva who made the phrase "Crack is wack" one of the most memorable phrases of the last decade, now has proven to be the most appropriate time to get her act together to release the 25th anniversary edition of her first album. On January 26, 2010, Arista Records/Legacy Recordings will release the 25th Anniversary Edition of her self-titled debut.

Whitney, fresh-faced and gleaming is shown on her 1985 album cover in
poised elegance, unaware that her first foray into the music industry
would shoot her, a virtual unknown at the time, into pop stardom. The
album, originally released on Valentine's Day in '85, spent 162 weeks
on the Billboard charts, including a record-breaking 46 weeks in the
Top 10. The Whitney Houston 25th Anniversary Edition CD
includes all of the singer's hits from the debut album and includes a
DVD that features Whitney performing "I Am Changing" from the musical Dreamgirls, "Home" from The Wiz and her hit "You Give Good Love," which she performed on the Soul Train Music Awards in 1987.

This CD package is sure to be a fond walk down memory lane, when every
little girl aspired to sing "The Greatest Love of All" in their local
talent show and when you believed that nothing was wrong with sleeping
with someone else's husband because Whitney's vocals in "Saving All My
Love For You" made you believe that anything was possible.

This is a recommended purchase for every classic collector who recognizes with
respect a time when Whitney was truly at the top of her game.
