Jody Watley Ushers In The Holiday Season
I haven't been in much of a holiday mood lately. But the holidays are coming which means that my Jackson 5 and The Whispers Christmas albums are coming out. If there's one Christmas song I do listen to year-round, barring Donny Hathaway's "This Christmas," it's the Vince Guaraldi Trio's "Christmas Time Is Here." Jody Watley has decided to get us all into the holiday spirit by putting a delightfully jazzy spin on this song. As always she sounds wonderful and the instrumentation is what sets this track above other remakes I've heard of this song. Love it.
