SoulBounce favorites Full Crate & Mar are likely putting the finishing touches on their new EP, Conversations With Her, due January 15th. Despite being an incredibly talented DJ and producer, Full Crate is classically trained in piano, while Mar is a skilled drummer and vocalist whose previous collaboration, "She Was Fly," we introduced here earlier this year. Though their sound has been described as "futuristic," we prefer to simply call it some of contemporary Soul music's finest. Interestingly, they have also collaborated with another SoulBounce friend and recently Grammy-nominated vocalist Eric Roberson for a different take on "She Was Fly." Although the snippet is short, it is sweet and will leave you yearning for more.
