Melanie Fiona Takes 'The Bridge' Home
A few weeks ago, we were all intrigued when Melanie Fiona's camp released video footage of her performing songs from her debut album The Bridge alongside NYC street artists. It was a welcome bit of promotion and a stirring showcase for her gorgeous voice. Well, let's just say 'the bridge' isn't over, as the Canada native has just released a second video in the Subway Series, this one showing her grooving with her home folk. First up, she heads to Toronto to croon "You Stop My Heart" with a capella group Nitro providing the soundtrack, and then it's an acoustic delight as she stops in Montreal and kills "It Kills Me" with award-winning cellist Jorane on the back-up. With this innovative series, and this album, it's safe to say that Melanie Fiona is definitely on the bridge to somewhere special. And we love it.

OMG...when she does "It Kills Me" with the Celloist, she kills it!!!! I love this song even more....she needs to be on someone's late night show with only this girl as the backing. Beautifully done.
