Some time ago, I was walking down the street in a one week period and saw two people who were stuck in the '80s. More specifically, the older gentleman I saw had a meticulously cut high-top fade while the older woman I saw had the same haircut Pepa rocked as well as some identical outfit that Pepa would have worn in Salt-N-Pepa's "Everybody Get Up" video. I say all of this to say that for some people certain years happen to crystallize their personae so well that they absolutely refuse to leave its nurturing bosom. If '94 happened to be your year or you happen to have misplaced your flux capacitor to travel back that time or you were yearning for an H-Town and Jodeci reunion, "Knockin' Your Heels"--not boots--is for you. I freakin love it!!! I don't give a damn if it was cats and monkeys singing as long as they attach the names H town and Jodeci to it I'll support it.

Im not sure they were going for a hit. This is just enough to tell their hardcore fans theyre still alive and kickstart a tour were they can sing the old hits. Considering they are great singers its a pretty ok move.

Knocking your heels off? wow....this song wouldn't have made in 1994 let alone 2009. Oh and the reason that they didn't put Jodeci on there....is because Jodeci "broke up" and now it's Nodeci and K-ci and JoJo.....yes I spelled it right...NODECI....

This shit is fly !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Devante produced one their best songs. Part Time Lover from the Above the Rim sound track, so they have always been cool. I like the production, wonder if Devante had anything to do with it.
