A Soulful Noise

Alicia Keys Has 'Love' For Whitney Houston

We're merely days away from the release of the Whitney Houston relaunch project, I Look To You, which means the major hype campaign is under way. And thank goodness, because after years of more "Hell-to-the-no" jokes than I could stand, good press is finally coming Whitney's way. Last week, Good Morning America's Dianne Sawyer, in an effort to promote the musical icon's September 2nd performance, sat down with Alicia Keys, touching on her love and admiration for Whitney, as well as collaborating with the person she calls her idol on the comeback single ("Million Dollar Bill"). The piece, while short, shows the similarities between the two multiple Grammy winners, from their backgrounds to their early success. Trivia for you: Alicia's favorite Whitney song? "My Love Is Your Love." Go figure. Look out for more Whitney press in the coming days, as the new album hits shelves this coming Tuesday, September 1st. Let the countdown begin to the relaunch.

Alicia Keys' speaking voice lulls me to sleep. It's too mellow! Lol! I love "My Love Is Your Love" too...well, just about all of Whitney's songs that I've heard. Is that big red ad supposed to stay on the screen the whole time like that?

I smell a flop. Hope I'm wrong
