Mary J. Blige, Gladys Knight Make Appearance In Trailer For 'I Can Do Bad All By Myself'

Fresh from the Tyler Perry factory, the trailer for his newest film I Can Do Bad All By Myself gives us our first peek at stars Mary J. Blige and Gladys Knight. And, no surprise, they spend just as much time in the trailer singing as they do acting. Taraji P. Henson also picks up a mic (and a bottle...and Adam Rodriquez...and three kids) for what's bound to be another divisive addition to Perry's catalog of work. Perhaps the only female character who doesn't sing is the ubiquitous Madea. But we won't know for sure until the film is actually released on September 11th. [H/T: WTF]

i'll download the soundtrack cuz mary and ms. knight will be sangin' but i will only watch this movie once it's on cable and the mets are losing/cartoon network is showing those wack new tom & jerry cartoons/i'm feeling a twinge of guilt about not going to church.

Initially, I was excited about this release, but after seeing the clip...I dunno. LOL

For as much as I am not much of a fan of Tyler Perry's films and/or his television series, I do respect his hustle because that brotha is releasing every other month.
