The Remake Monster Claims 'Fame' As Next Victim

Fame is the phenomenon that unleashed the powerhouse voice of Irene Cara into the world and had many '80s babies wanting to live forever and learn how to fly and stood as one of the best coming-of-age stories with a hot soundtrack ever. Even though the original's success was already spun-off into a popular television series, Hollywood decided that it was time to re-tell the story. And, of course, to update the songs made famous by the film. In this trailer you can hear a snippet of the new version of the title track "Fame." It's all bottom-heavy and sounding suspiciously like it was churned out of the "S.O.S" factory. Why? Even the presence of SoulBounce fave Sam Sparro's "Black and Gold" doesn't make this any less questionable. What do you think?

WHY!!!!!!!!!!!! and for gods sake, whats fame without Leroy or Debbie Allen or at least Janet Jackson?? lol
This remake should jus be called somethin else and totally unrelated to the FAME legacy.

Why, Lawd, why? If it ain't broke, don't try to fix it. Enough with the remakes, already.
