Theophilus London has been on my one-to-watch list of late. His collaboration with Jesse Boykins III peaked my interest and his lack of twice weekly mixtapes puts him low on my "Annoying Artists" meter. And now, thanks to Dante's Fried Chicken, a video show hosted by Dante featuring such artists as Santigold performing and throwing down in the kitchen, I know a bit more about him. His recipe for chocolate coconut pumpkin pie sounds delicious, and it was nice to see his performance with Solange as well as him bantering with the show's host. Think more of these segments as the music segments from Chappelle's Show with some thoughtful questions and cooking mixed in. Can't wait to see what Theophilus and Dante are cooking up next.
