Morning Soul: Like A Record, Baby

  • Alicia Keys made an appearance along side First Lady Michelle Obama at a DC High School for Women's History Month. [CL]
  • Now you can view footage of The Notorious B.I.G.'s final party online, should you feel so inclined. [MTV]
  • Upcoming albums from Case and Keri Hilson can be previewed on MySpace, making all three entities quasi-relevant. [SR]
  • And speaking of threes, that's the number of entrances Janelle Monáe made for her performance at SXSW. [RS]

great vid choice....your choice yesterday prompted to by that single off of amazon, and this one. i've been singing right round since last night....

thank for the "final party" link. that was just so interesting to watch. seriously, it took me back.

All week, I have loved the Morning Soul theme of '80s White Euro pop-soul music (my title, not ya'lls:)). Funny enough, but I don't recognize today's song. I am surprised you didn't end with The Police or the Pet Shop Boys or something.
