Jose James Wants You To 'Save Your Love For Me'
I will admit that I was was super late to the Jose James train. Now that I am armed with my late pass, I can say that his style is like looking at cirrus clouds on a Sunday afternoon: wispy, seemingly thin, yet substantive and inescapable. He'll be releasing a new album on Gilles Peterson's Brownswood label, and this is the first track from that album. While he did an amazing job with his cover of Freestyle Fellowship's "Park Bench People," he does an equally nice job with this cover of Cannonball Adderley and Nancy Wilson's "Saving Your Love For Me." Be prepared to take an ease off and let it softly wash over you. [H/T:MVMT]

I was super late myself. But better late than never. I love this track.
The Dreamer is in regular rotation and I'm anxiously awaiting the next one.
