'It's That Time of Year' for The Revelations
Today The Revelations featuring Tré Williams are on board with a new song for the season that sounds like an old soul record your parents may have put in the record changer back in the day and slow dragged to under the misteltoe. "It's That Time of Year" finds Tré conjuring up the spirits of souldiers from the past in a song that goes down smooth like a glass of egg nog heavy on the rum. I tell you, the more I hear from The Revelations, the more I am feeling these cats. Although their full-length debut album won't be available until early '09, their Deep Soul EP will make a most lovely stocking stuffer for the soul music lover in your life. [Amazon/iTunes]
