Common in MySpace Interview: 'I Want People to Like Me'
Common sat down with an interviewer from MySpace Hip Hop to discuss a little bit about his music career, why he's stuck it out with H.E.R., and what it's like when he auditions for films. He only speaks a little bit about his new album, Universal Mind Control (out today), and mostly about the Obama-inspired song "Changes." His digression about how hip hop has changed is kind of cute, but the way he characterizes H.E.R. is eerily reminiscent of the various incarnations of Lil Kim over the years. Even though this interview reveals nothing new, Common is always easy to listen to and nice to watch. [OKP]
