I became familiar with Miss Makeba & her culture through a 1992 episode of 'the Cosby Show.' It wasn't until much later that I learned of her noble contributions. Such a strong woman & in her youth, simply GORGEOUS! I was saddened by this news today, but you gotta hand it to her. She went out doing what she loved to do, performing! R.I.P. "Mother Africa," you will be missed.

I remember one day when I was in college, I confused the hell outta my Econ professor by answering questions using the African "click" sound. R.I.P. Ms. Makeba.

South Africa, Africa and the world has lost another great voice, another legend. Her spirit will live on.
When you say "click" sound, do you mean you were speaking Xhosa?
