Finding Comfort In Sesame Street
It's so hard to say goodbye to yesterday isn't it? It's so hard to see icons that your parents loved and whose love you inherited pass on just as much. For those of you still reeling from the announcement of Levi Stubbs' death yesterday, we at SoulBounce would like to offer the following clip from that beacon of children's programming, Sesame Street. In the clip below, we find The Four Tops in tip top shape, offering the seemingly effortless harmonizing that they were known for worldwide, and Mr. Tubbs singing sternly yet lovingly to "please be careful when you cross the street." Truer words were never sung, huh?

Wow...I remember this clearly. I think I sang it for the rest of the day and drove Moms crazy with it. Another good one I remember was Luther Vandross with a group of other singers counting to twenty http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RYvdKWfLKTE

High-waist slacks FTW!
This goes on The Awesome List.
I wish they also could have done one called "Please Don't Use Your Cell Phone While Driving."

Thanks.
(I'm going to be singing this nonsense all day now!)
Wow. Man stuff like that just sends me down Memory Lane. Such comfort from such simple things like them telling us about safety. Thanks for sharing.
