Ice Cube and Musiq Ask 'Why Me'?
Ice Cube wants to remind us of the senselessness of violence from the hood to the Gaza Strip. He and Musiq Soulchild ask the question of all victims in this song of the same name: Why me? In this video Cube ponders this while walking along the beach decked out totally in black, Musiq contemplates this in voice only, making no appearance in the video. The song isn't as sobering as the personal anecdotes at the beginning of the video. Family members recount the exact moment at which they heard their loved one was murdered. It's a nice touch to take an international viewpoint and the message is strong, but the subject matter could have been better executed. Watch this just in case you weren't already depressed enough about the state of our world.

I like the video. I wondered if it would be a single, and it seems like they pulled it off fairly well. I find it funny that they edited out BET but kept some other would-be questionable words in the song.
