Jazmine Sullivan Gets All the Way Live
This video of Jazmine Sullivan singing during a meeting of some sort at Seventeen magazine's offices has been circulating around the 'net for a week. However, I just saw it for the first time last night, and I wanted to jump back and slap myself for sleeping on this. Good golly Miss Molly, Jazmine is singing her face off in this flawless live version of "In Love With Another Man." She makes it seem so easy, and for someone with her level of talent, it is. I am counting the days until September 16th, when her CD Fearless hits the shelves. I haven't been this excited about a debut album from a new artist in a mighty long time.

Stephanie Renee | July 28, 2008 11:14 AM | PermalinkNow, I don't know if this is done anywhere else... But in Southern churches, when somebody is SHUTTING IT DOWN and getting TOO GOOD on the mic, be it the preacher or the lead singer for the choir, we tend to wave a hand and say, "SHUT UP!"
Suffice it to say, Jazmine had me waving and hollering "SHUT UP!" quite a FEW times with this live rendition.
I'll be in the sto' the day her album comes out. No free downloading that one. No, no, no!
