Superstar couple Rihanna and A$AP Rocky have collaborated on what might be their greatest creation. The two artists have announced that they're going half on a baby.
RiRi and Rocky shared their baby news in a rather unconventional way via a slick maternity photoshoot in the snowy streets of New York City with her baby bump on full blast. Rocking a long, puffy, Pepto pink coat and casual blue jeans, Rihanna's naked baby bump played peek-a-boo behind long jeweled chains and a cross. In the photos, she and A$AP are seen strolling like lovers do, holding hands, smiling and exchanging loving glances. In one particularly poignant image, Rocky, who's gone on record in a GQ interview calling Rihanna "the love of my life," sweetly kisses her on the forehead, melting hearts and any remaining snow in their path.
The 33-year-old Bajan singer and Fenty Beauty mogul and 33-year-old rapper from Harlem who've been friends for years have been romantically linked to each other since January 2020. They kept their romance under wraps for much of their relationship, which blossomed and grew during 2020's quarantine before going public later that year. The attractive pair made it official in 2021 and famously made their red carpet debut as a couple at last year's Met Gala in September. Things have clearly been going well between them since then.
This will be the first child for both Rihanna and A$AP Rocky. In previous interviews, they have separately said that they look forward to being parents. In a British Vogue profile, Rihanna looked toward her future in 10 or so years, stating, "I'll have kids – three or four of 'em." Rocky, meanwhile, shared with GQ in the same interview where he gushed about his relationship with her, "I think I'd be an incredible, remarkably, overall amazing dad. I would have a very fly child. Very."
Expect Rihanna and A$AP Rocky's fly bundle of joy to arrive in the coming months.
