Vine Of The Rhyme returned to City Winery Washington DC last month with a bang with a raucous celebration of Beyoncé's B'Day. A hella good time was had by all those in attendance at Decanted: B'Day who drank up the curated wine selections, danced in the aisles and sang all the words to their favorite songs. The VOTR crew hopes to keep that same energy and kick it up a notch at this month's event, Decanted: The Low End Theory, to commemorate 30 whole years of A Tribe Called Quest's classic sophomore album.
Hip-hop heads around the world recently celebrated The Low End Theory's dirty 30th anniversary on September 24th. On Wednesday, October 12th, hip-hop heads in the DMV are invited to join Vine Of The Rhyme's DJ Pheelin' It, Dr. DeepCrates and special guest host Tracey Lee at City Winery DC as they pair wine with songs from the album at Decanted: The Low End Theory. The evening will feature Dr. DeepCrates digging in the crates while DJ Pheelin' It and Tracey Lee chop it up about the album and share their knowledge about wine.
Vine Of The Rhyme is always a good time, and we know for a fact that will once again be the case this Wednesday at Decanted: The Low End Theory. And we're not just saying that because we'll be in the building with a Shop @ SoulBounce Pop-Up Shop. We would not steer you wrong; this event is SoulBounce approved regardless.
Tickets for Vine Of The Rhyme's Decanted: The Low End Theory event happening on Wednesday, October 12th in The Loft at City Winery Washington DC are on sale now. Please note that all guests attending Decanted: The Low End Theory must provide proof of vaccination or a negative COVID-19 test within 72 hours for entry and masks are required in all indoor public spaces.
