This has been true ever since she stole our hearts with her debut Complex Simplicity, with the singer keeping it all the way real when it comes to affairs of the heart. She also exemplified this quality on last year's sexy and sensual "Cashmere Compliments," and she's making sure you don't forget it with her latest single "Make Me."
She looks to producers Uncle Chucc and Brody B. this go 'round, and they lace her with a track that sounds like an '80s R&B late-night groove. Teedra isn't stuck in nostalgia, though. In fact, she keeps it very modern on the track as she states exactly what she's looking for in love right from the beginning. "We ain't gotta make it complicated / Either you want it or you don't / Love me or you won't / But I won't wait / 'Cause I don't wait," she sings on the first verse. With that out of the way, she makes it plain that either she'll be the only lady in your life or nothing to you at all. Or, as she puts it, "This exclusive type of kitty / You gon' have to cut them h**s off f**kin' wit me." We think you get her gist. Her request is understandable, and she makes it sound so sweet that it'll be hard to not comply. This is Teedra Moses we're talking about, after all.
Teedra always makes winners, and "Make Me" is no exception. Our only wish is that this single also came with her announcing that her previously mentioned album The Bull$h*t was soon on its way.
