“When people think of the word luxury they normally think of materialistic and extravagant gifts,” Mario stated via press release about the track. “With ‘Luxury Love,’ I wanted to highlight that the act of love is the luxury itself. Whatever your love language is, express that. Luxury is an experience. It’s the outward expression of that language. A consistent ode to that language.”
While Mario might be talking about love languages as part of the inspiration for the song, it’s body language that’s being heard loud in clear in this bedroom ballad. Against a sound bed of atmospheric synths, bass and percussion, Mario serenades the woman in his life, letting her know that she deserves every inch of luxurious love he’s serving up like hot sex on a platter.
