Sinead Harnett & EARTHGANG Plan Their Escape On 'Take Me Away'

Following her blazing collabo ”Stickin’,” alongside our favorite maestro Masego and sister songbirds VanJess, singer-songwriter Sinead Harnett teams up Atlanta’s own EARTHGANG for another scorching single. “Take Me Away” captures the urge we all feel to escape from our current reality. Whether for a moment or indefinitely, we are all searching for ways to dodge the heavy blows dealt by 2020. It seems Sinead and EARTHGANG’S Johnny Venus have found solace in their soulmates and seamlessly capture this sentiment on the GRADES-produced track.

Though the lyrics brilliantly align with much of our mood in light of the chaos going on worldwide, the track’s theme was actually lifted from a previous concept and then made current. While Sinead sings of riding out with her lover to “find some inner peace,” Johnny desires to feel free and declares, “I don't wanna fake it with you / With my love, you're guaranteed the truth / I put a mask on for the world, we all do / But I only wanna lie next to you.” Sinead explains, “Weirdly art has a strange way of feeding into life and vice versa, so he took an old idea and added his own story to it in real time. Right now a little escape is something a lot of us are looking for, so I hope this song can be just that."

Transcend all the turmoil and listen to Sinead Harnett's “Take Me Away” featuring  EARTHGANG. Be sure to add the track to your collection from your preferred digital platform, and keep an eye out for more music as part of the rollout for Sinead’s sophomore album, which is due out early 2021.
