Kiana Ledé & Ari Lennox Are Craving Some 'Chocolate'

Technology has definitely made #Quartantine2020 bearable for a lot of us. Thanks to tools like FaceTime, Zoom, Skype and the like, people have been able to connect with family and friends while practicing social distancing. Whether it be a virtual happy hour or just an hours-long FaceTime vent session, being able to see and talk with loved ones has helped us stay sane. This new-normal provides the setting for Kiana Ledé's new video for single "Chocolate" featuring Ari Lennox.

The ladies make the best out of the situation by filming their video via a FaceTime call from their separate homes. In a scene all-too-familiar to many of us at the moment, Ledé and Lennox keep each other in high spirits as they chat, laugh and even twerk while singing about having some chocolate-flavored fun with their boos. "I need a sweet escape / Compliments to your mother / Know how to treat a good woman," Ledé sings in the song's opener. "So pure and soft / Is your skin when I bite it / Taste buds is so excited," Lennox later counters in her verse on the midtempo groove

The light-hearted clip perfectly captures the playful dynamic of girlfriends catching up on the phone. "Chocolate" is the latest single to come from Ledé's debut album, KIKI, which recently debuted simultaneously in the Top 5 of Billboard's Top R&B Albums Chart, Apple Music's R&B/Soul Albums Chart and iTunes' R&B/Soul Albums Chart. Get into this quarantine-inspired video while dreaming about when you'll be able to have kiki like this in-person again.
