Earlier this month, India Shawn made quite a splash with the release of two stunning new singles, “CALI LOVE” and “NOT TOO DEEP,” and the announcement that she was newly signed to Epic Records and has an EP on the way. Now she’s turning up the heat with a scintillating video for the 6LACK-featuring number “NOT TOO DEEP” and giving everyone quite an eyeful.
The visual for "NOT TOO DEEP" is divided into two parts – the first half is live-action and the second half is animated. In the live-action section, India continues her divine hippie motif from the “CALI LOVE” teaser, wearing only sparkling gems all over her body with clusters of the diamond-like jewels strategically covering her naughty bits. She rhythmically sways to the beat, her floor-length braids grazing the ground while sheets of sheer black fabric undulate like waves. The capture is simple yet mesmerizing with light dancing off the gems and kaleidoscopic images of India gracing the screen. The clip then transitions into its animated portion with India looking like a celestial goddess while 6LACK talks his talk and they both drift through the universe like heavenly bodies.
“NOT TOO DEEP” will be featured on India Shawn’s forthcoming Epic Records debut. We don't know the EP's name or its proposed release date yet, but we are beyond ready.
